Other universities in Minneapolis include the Walden University, the Capella University and the University of Phoenix – Minneapolis/St. Paul. The Metropolitan State University is also among the public Minneapolis universities offering four-year undergraduate programs that have campuses in the city. Among the four-year private universities, the University of St. Thomas also has a campus headquartered in the city.
Although the graduation rate of Minnesota and even in the city of Minneapolis is quite low. It could not be said that this is because of the quality of education that has been given by the universities and colleges in Minneapolis and in other towns and cities in Minnesota. Although based on the 2008 Report of Minnesota Measures that the Minneapolis Community Technical College only has a graduation rate of 19.1 percent for three-year programs, with 20.9 percent of students changing schools, this should not be taken as a discouraging note against Minneapolis colleges and universities.
So, if you want to enroll in one of the universities in Minneapolis, don’t let the latest graduation figures daunt you. It is you who knows what you want out of a school, so if you can find what you need out of an education program in one of the universities or colleges in Minneapolis, then you go for that school. Graduation figures won’t affect your studies, if you won’t let it.
